1. The Promoter

  1. The organiser of all competitions is TUNING CAR COMPETITION LTD, Company Number 16315289, registered at 24 Leopold Road, London, England, N18 2DY.

2. The Competition

  1. These terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all prize draws found on www.tuningcompetitions.com (referred to as “the Website”), including both traditional prize competitions (“Standard Competitions”) and those offering instant wins (“Instant Win Competitions”). These will be collectively referred to as “Competitions.”

  2. If any promotional materials or listings conflict with these T&Cs, these terms will prevail.

  3. To enter and be eligible to win, each participant (“Entrant”) must answer a skill-based question posed by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”).

  4. All Competitions involve answering the Competition Question and paying an entry fee. If the Promoter provides an easier or multiple-choice question, a free postal entry option will also be available.

3. How to Enter

  1. Each Competition has defined start and end times (“Opening Date” and “Closing Date”) shown on the Website. All times are based on the London time zone.

  2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these dates if necessary. Any changes will be updated on the Website.

  3. Entries received after the stated deadline will not be accepted and will not qualify for refunds.

  4. Each Competition will specify the maximum number of entries allowed. Entries may be restricted once this number is reached.

  5. Entry limits apply per person, per Competition. These limits are displayed on each Competition’s webpage.

  6. For a paid entry into a Standard Competition:

    • Visit the Website and select the desired competition.

    • Answer the Competition Question.

    • Choose how many entries you wish to buy and proceed to checkout.

    • Log in or register an account.

    • Agree to these T&Cs and complete the purchase.

  7. For Instant Win Competitions, the steps are similar, except that no Competition Question may be displayed. Winners are revealed immediately based on random allocation.

  8. You must be over 18 to use PayPal. Their separate terms apply.

  9. Upon purchasing an entry, a confirmation email will be sent.

  10. The Promoter isn’t liable for technical faults, system failures, or other disruptions that may affect the receipt of entries.

  11. By entering, you confirm your eligibility and agree to these T&Cs, forming a contract with the Promoter.

  12. To enter for free by post:

  • Send a pre-paid first or second class letter to: TUNING CAR COMPETITION LTD, 24 Leopold Road, London, N18 2DY.

  • Include:

    • The competition you’re entering

    • Full name

    • Date of birth

    • Postal address

    • Telephone number and email

    • Your answer to the Competition Question

  • Each free entry must be sent separately.

  • Free entries received within 48 hours of the Closing Date may not be included if the competition is near capacity. In this case, account credit may be given.

  • Entrants must have a valid user account on the Website with matching details for the entry to be processed.

4. Winner Selection

  1. For Standard Competitions: eligible entrants (i.e. those with correct answers) will be entered into a random draw held within 7 days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”).

  2. Entry lists and numbers may be published via spreadsheet online. To opt out of this, notify the Promoter at least 48 hours before the live draw.

  3. For Instant Win Competitions, prizes are randomly assigned to entry numbers. If your entry number matches one linked to a prize, you win.

  4. All participants will be notified of the result on the Competition webpage and via email.

  5. Winners will be automatically emailed using the details provided during entry.

  6. Those declared winners (either by draw or instant win) will be referred to individually as “Winner” and collectively as “Winners”.

5. Site Credit

  1. Credit on the Website may be awarded as prizes or bonuses.

  2. Some prizes can be exchanged for Website credit (if stated on the competition page).

  3. Testimonials and winner photos may qualify for credit bonuses.

  4. Promotional campaigns may also offer credits. Check our social media pages.

  5. Credit expires 12 months from the award date. Users will receive reminders before expiry.

  6. Your current credit balance is visible in your user account.

  7. Credit cannot be exchanged for cash or withdrawn.

6. Eligibility

  1. Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 and over, excluding:

    • Employees of the Promoter

    • Employees of third parties involved in the Competitions

    • Immediate family members of the above

  2. Proof of age or eligibility may be requested. Failure to provide it may result in disqualification.

  3. Entries will not be accepted if:

    • Generated by automated means

    • Incomplete or misleading

  4. Offensive, fraudulent, or abusive conduct will result in disqualification.

  5. No entry fee refunds will be issued if:

    • You are found ineligible after entering

    • Rules change and you no longer qualify

    • You are disqualified for rule violations

  6. Fraudulent behaviour (e.g., hacking or manipulation) will void all entries and bar future participation.

7. The Prize

  1. Prizes are as listed on the Website. Details are accurate as of the Opening Date.

  2. The Promoter may substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value.

  3. No guarantees are made about the condition or accuracy of prize descriptions.

  4. Cash alternatives may be offered at the Promoter’s discretion.

  5. Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  6. If the prize is a vehicle:

    • It may include a valid MOT

    • No insurance or tax is included

    • The winner must ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance

  7. If the prize is a holiday or event:

    • Specifics are provided on the Website

    • Winners are responsible for all extras including transfers, insurance, and travel documents

  8. If the prize is property:

    • Winner may choose between the property (as described) or a cash alternative

    • The Promoter covers stamp duty and legal fees

    • Title transfer must be completed within 90 days

8. Winner Notification

  1. The Promoter’s decision is final.

  2. Standard Competition winners will be contacted within 7 days after the Draw Date.

  3. Instant Win winners will be notified via website and email within 48 hours.

  4. Winners’ names and entry numbers may be published unless they opt out.

  5. If you don’t want your name published, email admin@tuningcompetitions.com before the Closing Date.

  6. If a Winner fails to respond within 14 days, the prize may be reallocated or forfeited.

9. Claiming Your Prize

  1. Winners must claim prizes personally.

  2. Keep your contact details updated via email to the Promoter.

  3. Cash prizes will be transferred to the Winner’s nominated bank account.

  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if a prize cannot be claimed due to inaccurate information.

  5. Prizes not claimed in accordance with the T&Cs may be forfeited.

10. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Promoter is not liable for:

    • Delays or losses in communication

    • Technical or network failures

    • Any issue preventing entry or use of the Website

    • Use or misuse of prizes

11. Data & Publicity

  1. Personal data will be used strictly to administer Competitions, per our Privacy Policy.

  2. Winners agree to reasonable publicity use of their name and town unless they opt out.

  3. If you do not wish to appear in any publicity, notify us before the Closing Date.

  4. Winners may need to provide further ID to claim or receive the prize.

  5. You may request the Promoter to delete your details, but this will remove you from the Competition.

12. General Terms

  1. T&Cs may be updated at any time. The latest version will be available on the Website.

  2. Rule breaches may result in entry disqualification.

  3. The Promoter may cancel or amend Competitions due to unforeseen circumstances.

  4. Competitions will proceed regardless of entry numbers unless otherwise stated.

  5. Competitions are not sponsored by or affiliated with Facebook.

  6. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
